Vehicle Wraps FAQ
What is the difference between a full wrap, partial wrap, spot decals, and lettering?
Full vehicle wraps make a bold statement on the road. We can cover any vehicle from bumper to bumper. Partial wraps cover the sides of a vehicle and usually the hood. This option is cheaper than a full wrap because it involves less material and less time to install.
Spot decals can be installed almost everywhere. Most of them are installed on rear windows or rear windshield. The base film is perforated to allow the driver to see outside and can be printed to display any design to the outside. Cut Lettering is a technique involving the application of single letters on the vehicle. These different options come at different price points. Give us a call to get an estimate. |
Is there any preparation I should think about before bringing my vehicle to your shop?
Try to clean your vehicle. All vehicles should be cleaned before coming to our shop. Do not use protectors or special shine waxes as they impact the adhesion of vinyl. We can wash vehicles if you are unable to do it yourself for an extra charge. Contact Insignia Signs and Wraps for more information.
|
Can I remove the vehicle wrap myself?
Avoid doing it yourself. The removal process involves the application of heat on the surface of the vinyl to peel it off. Talk to a specialist at Insignia Signs and Wraps for more information on the process and conditions of wrap removal.
|
My vehicle does not have its original OEM-factory paint anymore. Can I wrap my vehicle?
If your vehicle is new or old, vehicle wraps are only suitable for application onto OEM-factory paint. Do not apply wraps to aftermarket-finished paint jobs that are usually not using the same paint quality. Talk to Insignia Signs & Wraps specialists for more information.
|
Can you help me with my vehicle wrap?
Yes, we can help you. Our design team creates designs from scratch. As all businesses should be different, the last thing you want to see on the road is another company with the same graphic designs. Therefore, we treat each and every graphic as a unique piece of artwork. You can rest assured that your brand will be unique and stand out in the urban environment. Give us a call to discuss your project.

What information should appear on my
vehicle wrap? It depends on your business objectives and what you need passersby or other drivers on the road to see. Typically, ask yourself if you need more website traffic, phone calls, texts, and emails, or simply increase your brand signal by emphasizing your logo. There are many tactics available. Hence, connect with our vehicle wraps specialists to discuss your goals, and we will come up with suggestions.
